Innovation Grants

With the support of our affiliate partner, the Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE), the NLD will send a representative from two organizations to the 2019 COABE Conference in New Orleans (March 31—April 3, 2019). This grant will include registration costs and a $1,000 travel stipend. The 2019 COABE Conference will explore innovative strategies, tools, and best practices in adult education.

Please complete this brief application by January 28, 2019 (5:00pm EST). Grant recipients will be notified February 8, 2019.

NLD members with up-to-date program listings are eligible for this funding opportunity. Applicants' programs must currently offer or plan to offer adult education classes to be eligible. You will need your unique NLD Program ID number to apply. If you do not know your Program ID, it can be found by logging into your Program Manager account. TESOL Teaching Materials Grant

The Tina B. Carver Fund was established by her family and colleagues to honor the life and work of Tina B. Carver, longtime member of TESOL and the ESL/EFL community. Grants are available for funding the purchase of student classroom learning materials and/or teacher-related materials (e.g., ancillary materials that can be used in conjunction with textbooks or other instruction materials) to support adult ESL education programs in the United States.

Caplan Foundation for Early Childhood
